Power of Attorney (POA)
Fairway would like to remind everyone of its Power of Attorney Policy.
- POAs must be reviewed and approved by Fairway.
- The Request for Review of POA must be completed and submitted with the signed and notarized POA, along with other required documents.
- POA approvals may take up to 5 business days. To avoid delays, submit the POA documents with the initial loan submission, or to your CRS as quickly as you learn a POA will be needed. If the POA is not received for review in a timely manner, you will need to plan closings accordingly.
- POAs are not allowed on Texas 50(a)(6) mortgages.
